July will be a busy month for Michael Morpurgo. On the 6th July, he will be hosting the second literary lunch at the Savoy’s Kaspar restaurant. The event will be perfect for families and will be an occasion to meet Michael and other authors.
On the 11th July, you will have the chance to see Michael Morpurgo talking at West Meon Literary Festival in Sussex and on Saturday 13th June, The Mozart Question Concert will take place at the Buxton Festival (Opera House).
From mid-July Michael will hold two events to talk about his new book Jo Jo The Melon Donkey. The first one will take place on the 14th July at Hexham Book Festival and the second one on the 16th July at Mainstreet Books in Scotland.
August will be another busy month as Michael Morpurgo gets ready for the Autumn book releases and events.
One of the highlights of the autumn will be the release of a gorgeous retelling of Pinocchio, illustrated by Emma Chichester Clark. Michael will be in conversation with Emma in September at Daunts Bookshop, Marylebone High Street, on the 26th September to celebrate this fantastic release.
