The sinking of the Lusitania By Michael Morpurgo for The Times

In an exclusive article published in The Times on Saturday, Michael Morpurgo talks about the sinking by a German U-boat of the Lusitania. It happened 12 miles south of the Old Head of Kinsale, off the coast of Ireland, in bright sunshine and calm seas and is the inspiration behind his latest novel, Listen to the Moon which is published on 25 September.
